Property with wooden windows appreciated
Cooperation with Krzysztof Medina in the field of woodwork has been going on for more than 20 years. The first windows, for houses in the UnitedStates, were produced around 2000. This was a period in which MS Windows and Doors had just started production, but nevertheless took on demanding orders from across the ocean. One such order was to produce windows for a luxury mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut. In 2003, as a result of the cooperation of Krzysztof Medina and MS Windows and Doors, an elegant wooden joinery was installed in the villa at Field Point Circle. Three years later, the project was awarded by the popular trade magazine Architectural Digest. On the cover appeared a photo taken in one of the rooms of the villa, from which through wooden windows you can see boats floating on the Strait of Long Island. In the middle of the issue, an extensive article on the stylish estate was published. The whole project upupupposed the installation of wooden windows made of meranti wood resistant to mechanical damage and weather ingress. The windows are decorated with three-glazing and the inner glass is decorated with glued lead tape. As a result, this can be compared to mulled mulls glued to the glass. The property was installed m. Others. 12-meter HS lift and sliding doors opening sideways. The entire structure was divided into four equal parts, and the windows are decorated with a grid of lead tapes. The design masterpiece consisted in the fact that after the middle wings were fully ched, the lines of leaded tapes would face each other and form a harmonious arrangement. Due to the fact that the property is located close to the water, the windows are equipped with covered with a special coating of E-look, which is characterized by high resistance to the concentration of salts in the air.
Meadowcroft Lane Residence, Greenwich
MS Windows and Doors can also boast of other projects of woodwork, which was produced for exclusive properties in the USA. The Meadowcroft Lane Residence from 2010 certainly deserves to be recognised. The investment included the installation of 110 meranti wood windows, 23 pieces of FD doors, aluminum frame mosquito nets, as well as wooden door mosquito nets. The architectural concept of the residence was the responsibility of a team of designers from Wadia Associates.
Lattington Residence in New York
Another project worth mentioning is the Lattington Residence in New York City. This is a property designed by Kaehler/Moore Architects. The building has 57 windows (including Casement windows, i.e. openable to the outside), 6 corner windows, as well as FD doors (openable inwards and outdoors), lift-sliding doors in diagram C and A, and aluminium frame mosquito nets and wooden sliding mosquito nets. Dark red meranti wood was used to make windows and doors. More photos of luxury villas and wooden wood-carpenton estates are presented in the gallery. We invite you to watch.
