Wooden-aluminum Patio FS – information
The combination of wood and aluminum saves energy and also ensures safety. From the outside, the aluminum cladding protects against the effects of weather conditions. On the other hand, from the inside, the wood guarantees protection against heat loss. The Patio FS doors are equipped with Siegenia PORTAL FS PLUS fittings. This solution allows for uncomplicated connection of as many as seven sashes and obtaining a passage width of up to 6.3 m. None of them weigh more than 80 kg.
Folding doors – available profiles
Wooden doors with aluminum Patio FS cladding are available in three product lines: Modern, Art and Classic. The offered options differ in the appearance of the glazing rebate.

Thicknesses of door frame and wings
MS Windows and Doors offer two thicknesses of profiles – 68 and 80 mm. Both variants are available in each of the product lines presented above. The graphic below shows a cross-section of the Modern line of woodwork with Classic facings. The profile shown is 80 mm thick.

Cladding used in the wooden and aluminum Patio FS
In the wooden and aluminum doors of Patio FS, aluminum cladding from reputable companies is used – Aluron and Gutmann . Only Aluron Classic or Gutmann Mira R5 linings can be used with this product. Expanded color palette includes, among others RAL, metallic shades, as well as wood-like decors.

Not only the variety of aluminum claddings affects the aesthetics of wooden and aluminum folding doors. The chosen one also largely determines the appearance of the structure type and color of wood . Each offered grade is characterized by different properties – appearance and technical parameters.
Variants of thresholds and fittings for Patio FS
Convenient use of wooden and aluminum folding doors opening inwards is, among others, thanks to the high-quality fittings Siegenia PORTAL FS PLUS. Thanks to them, the structure can, for example, open and tilt, which means that it has functions such as a standard window.
Based on the method of opening, three types of folding doors with aluminum cladding can be distinguished:
- sash guidance occurs on the upper frame element,
- the sashes are guided on the lower frame element,
- variant with an aluminum threshold (the component is equipped with a thermal break that prevents condensate).
