How to wash external blinds?
Due to the fact that the blinds are located outside the building, they are exposed to various types of dirt. Dust settling on slats, accumulating grains of sand can scratch the armor or negatively affect the functioning of the blind. It is better not to lead to such a situation and take care of cleanliness from time to time. Especially since the wash of blinds is not a complicated operation and it can be carried out by yourself. We suggest in simple steps how to wash the blinds correctly. First, lower the blind armor down and check for any particles on the surface that could scratch it. If necessary, we get rid of them using a brush with soft bristles. Later, we can use a damp cloth with a little mild cleaning agent (e.g. dishwashing liquid) and wipe the blind. It is important not to use too strong detergents and rough cleaning that could destroy or scratch the slats. At the very end, it remains only to wipe the blind dry with an equally delicate cloth.
How to take care of façade blinds?
As well as blinds, you should take care of façade blinds. If we want our blinds to work properly, we need to clean them from the dust, sand particles or lingering leaves from time to time. Work related to cleaning blinds can be carried out on their own, keeping in mind the basic rules. We start by lowering the blinds down and laying the lamellas one way. It is better not to clean the slats wet, as this can cause unsightly streaks. It is better to use a dry, soft cloth for rubbing. As with blinds, do not use aggressive means, e.g. solvent-based. We repeat exactly the same actions by turning the blind slats the other way. Remember that if our sun visors are equipped with automatic control, it isbetter to entrust maintenance, inspection and cleaning of components to professionals.
