ALU axxent PLUS – standard equipment
ALU axxent PLUS fittings are used in Premium 86 US aluminum windows, i.e. constructions with a hidden sash. Standard equipment includes the following components.
- Fixed, non-rotating bolts
These components are part of all envelope hardware components. They cooperate with hooks located on the frame. Thanks to them, it is more difficult to balance the wing. Therefore, they have an anti-burglary function.
- Lower hitch with roller
The sash lifter in ALU axxent PLUS hardware is performed by a catch bolted to the bottom part of the frame. A special roller effectively facilitates the introduction of the sash into the frame. Such a convenience will be especially appreciated by users of large-width joinery.
- Hidden hinges
Hidden hinges are the standard – and the only – option for ALU axxent PLUS hardware. They provide unique aesthetics of the structure. It is also worth mentioning that the windows are less demanding than with standard, surface hinges. The load capacity of 150 kg is a guarantee of the safety of the joinery and its users.
- Perimeter catches cooperating with the bolts
The bolts in the elements attached to the leaf cooperate with the catches bolted to the frame. These components have a different structure than the catches used for aluminum windows with a 16 mm hardware groove.
Optional ventilation
The WINTER / SUMMER stay can be used in aluminum windows equipped with ALU axxent PLUS fittings. This small element allows you to regulate the amount of fresh air entering the room through the window. Thanks to this, the sash can be slightly tilted in winter. This provides the necessary ventilation without unpleasant draft. It is worth emphasizing that changing the size of the tilt does not require the use of any tools.
